AGES

18 months to 5 years of age.

TERMS

We are a 4-term school and largely follow Bryandale Primary’s term dates. However, we are open all year round until 15 December. We close for approximately four weeks over Christmas and start again in January when the school year starts.

HOURS

Drop-off:

Between: 6:45 – 7:45. For Grade 00.

Between 6:45 – 8:15. All other classes.

Pick up is from:

12:30 - 13:30. Mornings only.

12:30 - 15:30. Aftercare – half day.

12:30 - 17:30. Aftercare – full day .

SCHOOL FEES FOR 2024

NOTE: All fees are per month for 12 months

Fees: per month for 12 months

Pick-up 12:30 to 13:30: R4 500.
Pick-up 12:30 to 15:30: R5 000. Ad hoc per day R75.
Pick-up 12:30 to 17:30: R5 500. Ad hoc per day R150.

Fees including Holiday Club: per month for 12 months

Pick-up 12:30 to 13:30: R160 per day.
Pick-up 12:30 to 15:30: R230 per day.
Pick-up 12:30 to 17:30: R300 per day.

Enrolment: R650.
Deposit: R4 500 (This comes from your child’s last month with us).

5% Discount: This applies to an up-front payment for the year within the month of starting. Also, a discount applies for a second and third child.

Fees INCLUDE:

All stationery.
All art supplies.
All toiletries.
Ear tests.
Eye tests.
School hat.
Outings.
Mid-morning fruit, muffins, veggies and dips, and homemade soup in the winter.
Mid-afternoon snack (if your child is here for the afternoon: After 13:30).

Fees EXCLUDE

Breakfast and lunch.
Extra murals: Playball, ballet, gymnastics, music, drama and off-site swimming.

What to bring EVERY DAY in a backpack:

Lunch (Ideas: A sandwich, cheese cubes, biltong, chicken pieces, yoghurt, meatballs, dried fruit, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrot sticks, crackers, tuna, eggs, cold meats, sausages, even leftover dinner (we can re-heat it).
Water bottle.
Spare clothes in case of an accident.
Nappies, wet wipes, and cream (if relevant).

WHAT ELSE do you get?

A qualified teacher and an assistant in each class.
Teachers who have taught for a minimum of 10 years.

2 x Reports.

THE FINE PRINT

Fees:

All fees are payable in advance on the 1st for 12 months.
December is payable even if you do not attend, as teachers and all staff still need to be paid.

Notice period:

One month from the day notice has been submitted in writing is due. (Your deposit can be used for this).
Three-month-notice must be given in writing if it is in the last term of the year.

COMMUNICATION

Newsletters

These go out every Thursday to keep you well informed.

The teachers communicate weekly via a WhatsApp group, so you know what your child gets up to during the day.
