As a trained teacher and principal, I am deeply passionate about the happiness, growth, and success of every child in my care. Before opening Stirling Pre-School in Bryanston, Sandton, I taught at two different schools and co-ran another preschool for eight years. This hands-on experience gave me a strong understanding of what is both achievable and realistic in a classroom, shaping the leadership approach I bring to Stirling today.
In August 2025, Stirling Pre-School celebrated 20 years of serving families in Bryanston, Randburg, and the greater Sandton community.
I first converted a house into a warm, purpose-built school environment with the support of my husband, who works in construction.
Together with Tracey, my former teacher and now our ballet and substitute teacher, we developed the curriculum, vision, and philosophy that still guides Stirling. With the support of Victor and Lynette, who joined us at the start, our school has grown from 4 classes and 8 staff members to 7 classes and 19 dedicated team members.
At Stirling Pre-School, every class has a qualified teacher and assistant to ensure individual attention and meaningful daily support. This year, we added a third assistant who provides additional help wherever needed, ensuring that children receive consistent guidance and care throughout the day.​ Our team is hardworking, loyal, and committed to maintaining Stirling as one of the leading preschools in Bryanston and Sandton. Many staff members have been with me for years, sharing the same vision of creating a nurturing, high-quality early learning environment for every child who joins our Stirling family.
