Dear Parents,

All pre-paid photos are now ready for collection in the office.  Please remember to bring in your memory stick if you need me to download the pictures for you.

Theme – Our theme next week is insects and spiders.

Concert – Concert practice is well under way.  The Blue Crane and Springbok children have been given lines to learn.  Please help us by practicing your child’s line/s with him/her.

The concert is being held at the school for the first time this year and the times are as follows;

Friday 17 September.                      Arrive                                     Start

Yellowwoods                                    9:00 dressed                          9:15

Proteas & flags                                5:00 dressed                          5:15

Blue Cranes & Springboks                 6:15 dressed                          6:30

Everything should be finished by 7:30.

Curtains – It would be lovely to have curtains for the concert that could be drawn back.  Does anyone have any contacts or ideas as to where to source this?

Eye tests – These are for being done for the Yellowwood children and any children who were absent or are new when we had them earlier on in the year.  They will be held on Tuesday 24 August.

Good bye – Thank you, Marina, for all your love, professionalism and enthusiasm in teaching the Yellowwoods class while Teacher Cirsty has been away.  You have done such a fantastic job and the children have felt secure and relaxed in your company.  We will miss you and are happy that you will help us out in the future should we need you.

Teacher Cirsty – We also look forward to having Teacher Cirsty back on Monday.  We have missed her.
